How do I clean my EmmaLu Designs Car Seat Cover?
Our covers are machine washable and dryer safe. Remove the cover from your car seat and secure the Velcro so that it does not snag on anything else.   Use a mild detergent and machine wash on cold and dry it on low or hang dry.  Do not use fabric softener or bleach. 

What car seats will your covers fit?

What are your covers made out of?
All of our covers are 100% cotton.  The under layer of the cover is 100% nylon.  All materials are breathable and do not make baby hot.  We do not treat any of our fabrics with flame retardant chemicals.

How do I put on my EmmaLu Designs car seat cover?
Our covers were made with functionality in mind. Simply slip the cover on over the manufacturers cover and you pull the straps through the opening.  Attach the Velcro and you are done!  There is no need to take the car seat out of your car to put our covers on or take them off for cleaning.

How do I install the canopy for my infant car seat cover?
Our canopy is designed to replace the original.  Remove the original canopy from the car seat and slide the canopy off of the main support or it may be necessary to cut off the old canopy if your support rods do not detach.  Then,  Velcro our canopy on over the support rods. 

I had my car seat correctly installed at the fire station. Will I need to go back there to have my cover put on?
No. The Emmalu Designs car seat covers were specially designed using Velcro closures so once your car seat is installed in your car you will not have to remove it to put on or take off your cover.  Safety is of the utmost importance and our covers allow you to keep your car seat clean without worrying about whether or not you have reinstalled your car seat properly in your car.

Will you accept exchanges and returns?
Yes, within 30 days.  The cover must be in new and unused condition.   You must email returns@emmaludesigns.com to receive a return authorization number.  In the email please include your order number, reason for return, the type of car seat you have and if you would like an exchange.
